The Scytek BP-3R is a universal key transponder by-pass kit. This by-passes vehicles, with a transponder chip. Without this piece, the vehicle will not be able to be started. Most newer cars will require this kit in order for the remote start to function.
The way this owrks is the black box has built in circuitry and a relay to use your spare key as a simulated starter. This by-passes the transponder chip and allows the vehicle to start through your remote starter.
This bypass kit will not effect your Factory Security System.
