Description of XK4B1

The DB Link XK4B1 is a 4 gauge amp kit which works with any amp up to 1,200 watts RMS or more (depending on which brand name).  This amp kit is made with true real life RMS ratings, so you get the power you expect.  This kit truly can handle a lot of power.  Other brand names sell 4 gauge kits that have 40 amp fuse, but this one has a 60 amp fuse, so you can be sure it will handle the power of your amp.  The reason this has such a big fuse is because it supports competition grade amplifiers and this is part of the Xtreme series of kits made by DB Link.

It is not smart to go cheap on your wires, if you have a powerful amp.  It will draw extra current and take extra power from your battery, because the cheaper kits can't handle the amount of power the amp is trying to pump out.  This will also limit how loud the amp will go, and the sound will not sound as clean.  With cheaper wiring kits, you will get engine noise and more distortion.  DB Link has been making the best installation wires for many years.  These sell at installation shops for around $119.00; Get it here for way less!
