For all of you looking at this product who are familiar with the CVLS series from Cadence you already know that these 6x9 speakers are one of the most powerful 6x9 speakers ever created!  These speakers can handle a lot of power and they produce a lot of bass.  If you read through the specs on these speakers, you will notice that they sound much like the specs of a subwoofer.  That is because in order to build the loudest 6x9 speakers on the market the Cadence engineers had to create these with the ability to handle as much bass as most subwoofers.  They created these monster 6x9 speakers with 2" voice coils (usually only subs have 2" voice coils), 70 OZ Magnets (most subs have smaller magnets).  These weigh in at 25 pounds!!!  We have never ever heard, seen, or carried 3 way speakers that weighed even 15 pounds!  If you enlarge the side view image, you can see that these are no joke!  Most speakers will blow when you add a powerful external amp to them, but not these!  These can easily handle a high powered external amp.

Included is an external 3 way crossover to filter out unwanted noises from the speakers and make sure they last forever!  These speakers will sound extremely clean, because you will be filtering out unwanted noises that typically will cause distortion and vibrations.  Filtering out the really low end bass notes will also allow these speakers to last forever!  99% of all other speakers that include crossovers only come with 2 way crossovers, but these are the best speakers on the market, so they come with top of the line 3 way capacitor crossovers.

Cadence rates these speakers at 150 watts RMS and 300 watts peak each, however from our testing, these sound more like 1,000 watts when comparing the power ratings with other brands such as Pioneer or Kicker!   Cadence rates there products efficiently with true world RMS ratings just like all the other top brands such as JL Audio, or Rockford Fosgate.  However, If you compare these to the best 6x9 speakers made by one of these brands, you will see that these will be able to handle a lot more power.  If you have seen a 6x9 speaker with 2" voice coils and 70 OZ magnets at anywhere near our price than we would like to know about it!
