The Powerbass 5202 belongs to the 3XL series of coaxial speakers that bring brilliant sound to your vehicle's audio system. These Powerbass speakers offer clean, powerful performance that will keep you and your friends entertained as you drive. Please note that the 3XL series can handle serious amounts of power. We have to warn you that these speakers are capable of handling so much power that they can damage your hearing if not used responsibly.
The 5.25” Powerbass 3XL-5202 features Hybrid Kevlar®/Glass Fiber midrange cones that are light-weight and efficient in delivering accurate sound reproduction while offering, tighter, controlled mids.
The Titanium alloy tweeters top things off with vibrant highs that add excitement to your music without a trace of harshness. Each speaker has been outfitted with its own built-in audiophile grade 12dB crossover circuitry teamed with plated push terminals for easy connection and exceptional sound.
The power ratings on these speakers are written very conservatively. They are rated at 80 Watts RMS per side, but you can easily pump 100 watts per side. These speakers can handle it!
I also need to be sure to mention is that these are 3 ohm speakers. This means if you are installing a 4 channel amp and running one speaker to each channel you will get 50 % more power out of these speakers than standard 4 ohm speakers due to the lower resistance.
With Dual Gap technology, Neodymium magnets and 50% larger voice coils, these Powerbass speakers offer clean, powerful performance that'll make your tunes sound better than ever!
